About
Jacob brings a strong background in HVAC design to forensic engineering, with experience performing load calculations, equipment selection, pressure-loss analyses, and ductwork and piping system design. He is also well-versed in the construction process and has provided construction administration support throughout project execution, including responding to RFIs, documenting engineering revisions, conducting site inspections, and participating in construction coordination meetings.
In addition to his design experience, Jacob performs forensic evaluations of HVAC and plumbing system deficiencies and failures. Through the analysis of system design, installation practices, operating conditions, and maintenance histories, he identifies root causes and contributing factors associated with mechanical system malfunctions and performance issues.
